Chocolate Almond Cookies

They’re an all time favorite in our home, and what better way to celebrate the launch of this website than with sharing this recipe with all of you! So, if you’re looking for a guilt-free way to indulge in chocolatey goodness, here is the answer to your cravings.
Ingredients
2.5 cups almond flour
1/2 cup arrowroot flour
1/4 cup coconut oil
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp of sea salt
1 bar of dark chocolate, ideally sweetened with coconut sugar
Directions
preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, line an 8 by 8 inch baking pan with parchment paper
gently melt coconut oil and maple syrup in a saucepan, add vanilla extract
mix together almond flour, arrowroot starch, and sea salt in a bowl
add saucepan ingredients to mixing bowl, use hands to combine
press into baking pan, bake for 15 minutes
while cookie dough is baking, gently melt the bar of chocolate in a saucepan, and spread on top of cookie dough once out of the oven
allow to cool, then slice into bite-sized squares and enjoy!
